First Contact Physiotherapist
Rob Sandbach is an Extended Scope Physiotherapist and is our First Contact Physiotherapist with expertise in the assessment and management of Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. If you have a problem that affects your neck, back, bones, joints or muscles you can book a telephone consultation with Rob.
Well Person Healthcheck
These are carried out by the healthcare assistant and include checks for raised blood pressure, kidney disease and diabetes as well as advice regarding weight, diet and smoking. Cervical smears, blood cholesterol and ECGs are offered when appropriate.
All female patients aged between 47-73 years will automatically be invited to attend the mobile breast screening unit at South Molton every 3 years. If you have concerns and queries about the service, please discuss them with your doctor or one of the Practice Nurses.
Phlebotomy (blood tests)
We offer blood taking appointments to patients every day of the week.
Appointments with our Healthcare Assistants are available Monday and Tuesday from 8.10am to 6.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and on Friday until 12.30pm and can be made up to 4 weeks in advance. Patients requested by their GP to have a more urgent blood test may be offered an alternative appointment where necessary.
Smoking Cessation Help
Appointments are available with our healthcare assistants for help to stop smoking.
Please make an appointment at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception.

Depression and Anxiety Service - TALKWORKS

EDP Drug & Alcohol Services is the registered charity that delivers Together Drug & Alcohol Service across the whole of Devon. They offer all sorts of programmes and activities to support recovery both for the individual and for their family, prescribing options and a needle exchange.

Medical Examinations – not part of the NHS
We offer a wide range of medical examinations e.g. HGV, PSV and Insurance medicals. Your appointments for these MUST be made with your own Doctor. These are not covered by the NHS and we charge rates recommended by the British Medical Association. Up to date prices are available from reception. Doctors letters, holiday cancellations, Insurance forms, all carry a fee. Please check before booking an appointment or requesting completion of forms what your fee will be.
